With the new Order app, customers can select suitable accessories conveniently whilst on the move or in the workshop and order by e-mail directly from a trusted dealer. It is even possible to place group orders as a team. The new Order app therefore marks the end of the age of paper chaos and makes the workshop more orderly. The Order App is available to download for Android and iOS mobile devices.

"When developing the new Order app, we focused on our customers from the outset. We developed the app, just like our power tools, in close collaboration with our customers and have programmed an intelligent tool for the smartphone or tablet, which has been customised for our users," explains Michael Betz, the product manager responsible for app development at Festool. "One particularly practical feature is that the Order app can be used to find suitable and current accessories and consumables for a tool and then to simply order them from your preferred dealer. This significantly reduces the time spent searching and decreases the risk of annoying incorrect orders, since only suitable products are shown. The Order app thereby replaces the order form on the wall and makes the workshop more orderly – and is therefore perfectly in line with Festool's system and efficiency concept."

Search, find and order
With the Order app, you can conveniently select suitable accessories via the integrated Festool product catalogue. The app is linked to your myFestool account and shows all registered tools for which you can search for suitable accessories. Thanks to its transparent operation and self-explanatory navigation, you can place an order using the Order app in just a few steps. As an alternative to searching via the product catalogue, the app provides an additional practical scanning function: Simply hold the "Festool scanner" over the barcode of the required Festool accessory. You can use "My products" to manage and save accessories and consumables in folders – for even faster access in the case of repeat orders. With the Order app, you can also create shopping lists in next to no time and send them to retailers by e-mail. It is here that the app proves itself to be a real team player: Various employees can compile their lists digitally via a freely appointable purchaser from the company, who then sends one combined list to the retailers. The role of purchaser or employee can be easily defined under "My profile". Transparent navigation features and generously proportioned buttons also mean that the app is extremely easy to use whilst on the move or in the workshop.

The new Festool Order app is available for Android and iOS smartphones and tablets from May and can be downloaded free of charge from iTunes and Google Play.
