Festool presents innovations in mobile working: Systainer³ with lid compartment and the new Workcenter

From April, Festool is expanding their workplace design range: The new Systainer³ with lid compartment makes mobile work easier, keeping everything neat and tidy. Thanks to its new T-LOC interface, the new Workcenter can be combined with all extractors – making mobile working even easier.
Almost three years ago, Festool introduced their new generation of Systainer³. With the Systainer³, Festool cooperated with TANOS and bott to develop a new mobility system that links the workshop to the construction site. Thanks to the perfect integration into bott vario3 vehicle equipment, the new Systainer³ creates the familiar arrangement and the simple handling that you are used to, even when you're out on the road. Since then, Festool has gradually converted their entire range to the new Systainer³ and is now completing the Systainer³ conversion process with the new Systainer³ with lid compartment.
Transport – simple and practical
The lid compartment on the Systainer creates practical space for accessories and small parts. Festool has designed the lid compartment transparently in such a way that you have a quick overview and everything is always to hand. This means that the new and extensive range of bit and drill bit cases can also be accommodated in a particularly practical way. Variable partitions mean that the compartments can be divided to suit individual needs, whether for long drill bits, saw blades, bits or other small parts. In the Systainer³ itself, there is space for one tool, hand tools and whatever else is needed.
100 per cent mobile: From the stationary workshop to the point of use
The new Systainer³ cases guarantee a tidy workstation and secure transport of tools and accessories. Thanks to the special holder, the new Systainer3 with lid compartment can also be integrated into the bott vario3 vehicle equipment. This also means that everything is clearly organised and securely stored in the vehicle and can be quickly accessed, and ensures a professional appearance when visiting customers on-site.
Systems get it done
In true Festool style, the new Systainer³ cases with lid compartment are compatible with each other and with all previous Systainer generations, mobile dust extractors and many system accessories. The internal dimensions of the Systainer with lid compartments correspond to the internal dimensions of the Systainer³ M – meaning that you can simply use the inlays you already have. The new Systainer3 with lid compartment is available in three heights: 137 mm, 187 mm and 237 mm.
Mobility in the smallest of spaces
Furthermore, from April, Festool is offering the new Workcenter with the T-LOC Systainer interface. This means that, in the future, the new Workcenter can be coupled via the previous Classic interface as well as via the new T-LOC interface – and therefore also with older and new extractor models. The Workcenter can be used flexibly: Both in the workshop and on the construction site. This means that you can individually set up – based on requirements – one workstation each for sanding, routing or assembly with the Workcenter. This process optimisation of the workstation organisation leads to time savings of up to 22 hours per employee each year.
The new Systainer3 with lid compartment and the new Workcenter are available from specialist retailers from April 2022.
