In 2025, Festool will be celebrating its 100th anniversary with numerous limited-edition '100 years' versions of selected products. To start off the anniversary year, the limited-edition '100 years' DOMINO DF 500 will be available in a special blue Systainer³ with a free '100 years' cap*1.
Over the past 100 years, Festool has put a multitude of innovations on the market that have made professional craftsmanship quicker, easier and safer. To match this extraordinary achievement, Festool is starting into its anniversary year with the DOMINO DF 500 milestone product. This will be an exclusive and limited 100-years edition in a blue Systainer³ with a cap.
DOMINO jointing system – a milestone
The DOMINO wood jointing system has proven itself many times over for tradespeople over the past years. The system offers a wide variety of applications, from panel or body constructions to lightweight frame or rack joints. It combines the precision of a round dowel with the flexibility of a traditional biscuit dowel. The DOMINO system has become an indispensable part of craftsmanship. Thanks to the unique oscillation routing principle, outstanding ergonomics and a wide variety of adjustment options, working with the DOMINO is child's play as stable connections can be created quickly even for complex applications. The dowel jointer cuts holes like no other because the cutting tool oscillates and rotates at the same time. This feature guarantees kickback-free, safe work, which results in absolutely precise, routed elongated holes. Other features of the DOMINO include the movable stepped stop for height adjustment and for presetting standard material thicknesses, the routing angle setting between 0 and 90°, sophisticated technology in the form of a high-quality, hard-wearing inner mechanism, retractable stop catches, effective dust extraction and much more.
