Festool is expanding its range of lighting solutions with two new cordless products: The handy SYSLITE KAL C is a typical light that you'll always want at your side. It is very compact and illuminates areas brightly and evenly in a colour that replicates daylight. With its lamp head that can swivel to any position, it is particularly handy in narrow and difficult-to-access places. Its bigger sibling, the new SYSLITE KBS C cordless construction light, provides optimum illumination for floors, walls and ceilings and therefore enables perfect work results for medium surfaces. It can also be positioned in any number of ways and comes with a swivelling housing. With 5000 lumens, it shines in a colour that replicates daylight and can be dimmed to any degree desired.
The small light that packs a mighty punch
The new SYSLITE KAL C cordless working light impresses with its compact size and low weight: It is extremely handy, suitable for use everywhere and at any time but especially so for hard-to-reach workplaces. With up to 1200 lumens, it is a powerful lighting solution with a colour that replicates daylight. There are three brightness levels to ensure the best possible illumination. The working light can be positioned in any number of ways: Place or lay it in any niche, swivel it at any angle or hang it on a hook – just as you need it for your work. It also boasts impressive endurance: It provides light for 90 minutes per Ah, which makes for over six hours with a 4.0 Ah battery pack at the brightest level.
Brightens up the construction site
Not enough light and no socket in sight – a situation that any tradesperson on a construction will be familiar with. With the new, compact SYSLITE KBS C cordless construction light, Festool is now offering a perfect solution: Optimum illumination anywhere, anytime, without the need for any annoying pulling of cables and tripping hazards. With an outstanding light output of up to 5000 lumens and extensive illumination, you can work as if it were daylight anywhere and at any time. Particularly practical: The new cordless construction light can be dimmed to any degree desired and offers flexible mounting options. It attaches magnetically to metal surfaces, can be secured to walls or beams with screws or positioned on the tripod. The swivelling lamp body allows for a virtually unlimited number of lighting positions, which enables optimum illumination of the work area. The new cordless construction light is extremely robust and suitable for use both indoors and outdoors in tough construction environments, as the housing is shock-proof, scratch-resistant, dust-proof and splash-proof (IP 54). The new SYSLITE KBS C provides light for 30 minutes per Ah, which makes for over two hours with a 4.0 Ah battery pack at the brightest level.
Of course, both new cordless products – the SYSLITE KAL C working light and the SYSLITE KBS C construction light – are compatible with all Festool battery packs (except for Ergo pack). Both new products will be available from specialist retailers from October 2024.

Festool's battery-powered universe: There's more to it than "just" power
"Battery technology and battery-powered devices are a significant trend on the tools market. We have tailored our strategy to reflect this, and are continuously expanding our portfolio accordingly. We're not just blindly pursuing a strategy of using battery technology purely for the sake of it – we want to take a more purposeful approach to ascertain how battery technology might best serve the application in question. We want to optimise the results so that the products are perfect for their applications, and we want to make work easier, safer and better for tradespeople," says Sascha Menges, CEO of Festool GmbH. This commitment is embodied in exemplary fashion by the latest new additions to the Festool 18 Volt System.
